The two new members of the Optix family have retained the outstanding alignment features of the Oversize Optix mallet, but are set in different styles. The Optix Tour resembles the Oversize Optix mallet but is 20 percent smaller while the Optix Blade putters have a more traditional heel and toe blade look.
All of the Optix putters take alignment to the highest level with their innovative three-line highlighted alignment system which is further enhanced by Line-M-Up™ ball marker tool kit. The Line-M-Up ball marking tool replicates the three lines on the putter so that when the ball is set on the green and properly aligned, the golfer can see these three lines continuing through the ball.
Tiger Shark was the first company to offer oversize putter grips and in 2008 they've gotten even bigger with the Tiger Shark Fatso Jumbo grip. Almost one third larger than the original oversized grip, the Fatso is made with Winn's V17 Ultimate Performance Material which helps absorb sweat. The grip is also designed with Winn's Advanced Vertical Seam process which gives you the premium properties of a wrapped grip, but with a virtually seamless appearance.
With the bigger than ever Fatso grip, a "wristy" putting stroke will be a thing of the past.
"We anticipate that 2008 will be a very exciting year for us," said Tiger Shark Golf President, Dean Dingman. "We know that by having a presence on the PGA Tour more golfers will want to know more about our Optix putters and with oversize grips becoming more commonplace, golfers will want to smooth out their putting stroke with our Fatso putter grip. We really feel that our product line will be in the mainstream for all golfers in 2008."

Golf News, Source, TigerSharkGolf.com.- WARREN, Mich. - Tiger Shark Golf, designer of the legendary jumbo grip, recently teamed up with Winn Inc., the industry leader of high tech golf grips, to develop the 2007 UltraTac Tiger Shark putter grip. The UltraTac is made with Winn's V17 Ultimate Performance Material which helps absorb sweat. It's their most durable material to date and firmer than traditional Winn grips. The grip is also designed with Winn's Advanced Vertical Seam process which gives you the premium properties of a wrapped grip, but with a virtually seamless appearance.
Winn grips are lighter than conventional rubber grips and reduce the weight by more than 20 percent. They are also 40 percent more slip resistant than conventional rubber grips and absorb 65 percent more shock, which helps reduce hand fatigue.
"Our legendary putter grip has been the #1 after market jumbo grip for more than 20 years," said Dean Dingman, President Tiger Shark Golf. "Extensive player testing revealed the average golfer saves 3.7 putts per round when they use the jumbo grip as compared to a conventional size grip."
Another significant thing happened about this time. The style of putting changed dramatically when the height of the grass on the greens was lowered from an average length of ¼ inch to closely shaven. Golfers who were used to popping the ball on the taller greens when putting now had to scramble to find a way to putt on these pool table-type surfaces.
Golfers soon discovered that they had to keep their wrists as firm as possible when putting on the new surface but found out that this was easier said than done. Golfers needed help and Tiger Shark Golf had the answer -- the original jumbo grip. This grip made it harder for the golfer to break their wrists when putting, so they figured out that the thicker the grip; the harder it would be to break the wrists.
"The major advantage of the jumbo grip is that it prevents your wrists from moving through impact which results in much straighter putts," said Dingman. "It significantly increases consistency and accuracy and can be installed on any putter."
To date Tiger Shark has sold more than 1 million putter grips since they launched the jumbo grip. Look for the Tiger Shark UltraTac grip in three hot new colors to hit stores January 2007.

Golf News, Source, TigerSharkGolf..com.- WARREN, Mich. — Tiger Shark is launching their new Optix putter with a visual alignment system that will help revolutionize the game. The Optix has a highlighted 3-line alignment system, which is further enhanced by the Line M Up™ Ball marker tool kit. The kit is included with the purchase of the putter and the combination makes for incredible visual alignment. In designing the Optix, Tiger Shark teamed up with Fine Tune Golf, the makers of the Line M Up™ ball alignment system. After marking your ball with the USGA conforming Line M Up tool, the Optix sights can be aligned with the ball markings to help you zero in on the perfect spot on the golf ball.
"There has never been a putter matched specifically with a set line on the golf ball until now," said Dean Dingman, Tiger Shark President. "When we were designing the putter we entertained the idea of making our own marking system until we saw the Line M Up system. The Optix's 3-line alignment system allows you to match your sites with the alignment marks on the ball to have perfect sight alignment every time."
The Optix is precision milled in aluminum for even density and superior balance. The putter also features Tiger Shark's new UltraTac grip which is an updated version of their legendary jumbo grip which was redesigned with the help of Winn Inc. It comes with a specially designed putter cover that features a pocket specifically designed for the ball marker making this the most complete and accurate putting system on the market today.
