Golf Pride® Announces New Grips For 2010
SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation introduces its new line of Golf Pride brand grips for the 2010 season, which includes the revamped Tour Wrap® 2G™, the purple/black New Decade® MultiCompound and the white/black DD2® swing grips. The new models highlight Golf Pride's innovative technology to increase confidence on the course and provide vibrant color options for its high performance grips to help accommodate personal preference.
"We are excited to refresh and modernize the classic Tour Wrap after 20 strong years in our product line," said Dan Koehler, director of sales and marketing for Eaton's Golf Grip Division. "Golf Pride's commitment to innovation and technology has allowed us to improve one of our best selling, long standing grips. We have a proud heritage of manufacturing the number one grips in golf, and are eager to release the new Tour Wrap 2G into the marketplace."
Traditionally one of the most popular grips in the product line, the Tour Wrap 2G now features enhanced tackiness and an even softer material for a great new feel. The Tour Wrap 2G is available in a range of sizes, including a new Jumbo size with a straighter taper allowing consistent grip pressure for smooth, tension-free swings. The one-piece, simulated wrap grip combines the look and feel of luxury leather with the durability, economy, and performance of high-tack rubber. It's available in black, and two new colors; white, and red.
The purple/black color scheme of the New Decade MultiCompound grip joins the already broad spectrum of white, red, sky blue, blue, yellow, orange and green swing grips. The ultimate in form and function, the New Decade MultiCompound fuses high-performance rubber, providing comfort and responsiveness for the lower hand, with the moisture management and traction properties of cord for the upper hand.
Influenced by the success of the white MultiCompound grip, Golf Pride introduces the white DD2 for 2010. The DD2 is a technically advanced grip that combines a firm core for stability with a soft exterior for comfort and control. Extending to the surface in key areas, the black base material creates a visual thumb placement guide while providing additional stability. The DD2 is designed for all skill levels and provides the superior durability and performance expected from a Golf Pride grip. In addition to the new white model, the DD2 is available in blue and red standard sizes, and sky blue undersize.
