HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-has released the 4th generation BERES 7-Series, MG700. The MG700 consists of a two-piece structure of SUS630 body, ES230 convex forged-variable-thickness-face. By forging the face it provides a mild feel at impact, thus reducing the harshness felt from most stainless steel irons.

 

Each iron has a strategic weight distribution system. Adding tungsten nickel weights to the toe and heel boost the highest moment of inertia of any Honma iron ever produced. The MG700 design adds power to the sides to enhance carry and cuts down loss of distance during off-center hits. In addition, a carry-boosting design change, 7 grams to the toe and 5 grams to the heel were added from the #4~#8 iron to provide forgiveness and power. The #9~SW irons feature 5 grams evenly distributed on the perimeter for maneuverability due to shorter gravity point distance. The MG700 conforms to the 2010 USGA new groove rule.

The standard production MG700 is a 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club) up to the ultra-elaborate 5-Star grade (MSRP $4,395.00/club) featuring Pt1000 Platinum, 24k gold plating, medallions, hosel rings and ion plated shaft. The MG700 features the HONMA New ARMRQ UD49 graphite shaft for amateur players with average head speed. The MG700 can be ordered with the New ARMRQ UD45, UD54, UD62, UD70 and UD75 shafts by made to order only. The MG700 is available as a 10pc set (No.4-10, 11, AW, SW) or can be broken into a partial set as per the customer's preference.

"HONMA Golf introduces the HT-01, the Revival of a Legend"

HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-has released a new HONMA iron model, the HT-01. Each iron consist of a larger head that gives golfers confidence at address. The semi-goose neck design makes the ball so much easier to hit. With an ideal center of gravity design imbues this club with superior control and maneuverability. The HT-01 also features a wide-sole design for dealing with tough lies. HT-01 is a two-piece structure of SUS630 stainless body, ES230 stainless forged-variable-thickness-face. Irons #4-7 contains four tungsten weights, which total 7g. By redistributing the weight, it creates a deep and low center of gravity resulting, in excellent trajectory and carry distance. For irons #8 through the SW, we also utilize the weight by moving it internally on both sides, widening the sweet spot and improving control.

The standard production HT-01 is a 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club), 4-Star (MSRP $975/club) and the ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade (MSRP $1,465.00/club) featuring P1000 Platinum, 24k gold embellishment. The HT-01 features the HONMA ARMRQ HT55 graphite shaft for men and the HT45 for ladies. The HT-01 is available as a 9 pc set (No.4-10, 11, SW) for men and an 8 pc set (No.5-10, 11, SW) for ladies. The Perfect Switch for your Putter

HONMA Golf Co. Ltd., Sakata, JAPAN-An all-new putter from HONMA: The Perfect Switch. Three putters in one, each with a different feel, all-in-one package! The Perfect Switch includes three different heads varying in MOI, one torx wrench, two spare screws, two covers and a shaft with a laser grooved face. Face provided is a CNC processed 304 stainless steel and laser grooved for more consistent roll. Each head is finished with alumite treatment.

Three different heads are comprised of the following:

I-35 model has a shallow center of gravity provides excellent maneuverability and a great feeling at impact.

• Center of gravity depth: 11.5 mm
• Moment of inertia: 3,500 g/cm

The I-35 design allows for greater feel, helping deliver the optimal stroke on fast greens and challenging undulations. Extra perimeter weighting was added to the toe and heel to help enlarge the sweet spot.

D-39 model was designed for perfect stability, the mallet design makes setup incredibly easy.

• Center of gravity depth: 15 mm
• Moment of inertia: 3,900 gram/sq. cm

The D-39 provides a deeper center of gravity-plus weight re-distributed to the toe and heel-help ensure the ball rolls truer to reduce distance loss on poor putting strokes and better consistency. The beautifully curved shape helps the golfer get the most natural address possible.

T-42 model has an optimal center of gravity designed to help keep the ball online for those players with the yips.

• Center of gravity depth: 16 mm
• Moment of inertia: 4,200 g/sq. cm

The T-42 design helps boost visibility for better orientation, the dynamic T-shape facilitates a smooth stroke. Featuring a highest moment of inertia of the three models, this model is ideal for slower greens or long putts because it cuts distance loss when the ball is hit off-center.

HONMA Golf introduces the MG803, the first varying flow structure designed iron from HONMA

HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-will release the 3rd generation BERES 8-Series, MG803 in May 2009! Each iron has a specific structure flow design, a first for HONMA! Irons #3-#7 consist of a two-piece structure of SUS630 body, ES230 forged-variable-thickness-face, contains two, five gram weights, which double the gravity of the distributed weight to the toe and heel resulting, in a better M.O.I. from the previous model. The mid to short irons, #8-#SW, are a one-piece structure, with an integrated cavity. The entire cast club head is comprised of soft MS225 stainless steel. The #11 and #SW are superior performance wedges. They boast a larger face and sweet spot for better accuracy.

The standard production MG803 is a 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club) up to the ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade (MSRP $4,395.00/club) featuring P1000 Platinum, 24k gold embellishment and ion plated shaft for those who like the finer things in life.

 

The MG803 features the HONMA ARMRQ UD54 graphite shaft for amateur players with average head speed. The MG803 can be ordered with the ARMRQ UD62, and UD70 shafts by special order only. Also, by special order only, HONMA is also producing an ion plated model available in HONMA's ARMRQ graphite shaft, Nippon shaft 950GH or dynamic gold steel. The MG803 is available as a 10pc set (No.3-10, 11, SW) or can be broken into a partial set as per the customer's preference.
